Step 2: Open the CPE setup for your template or event

You can configure CPE credit distribution at the template level or the event level.

How To Access On Goldcast Studio Platform

  • Platform Panel → Templates → Open desired template → Professional Education
  • Platform Panel → Events → Open desired webinar or event → Professional Education
 

At the Template Level

  1. Open the event template you want to configure.
  2. Go to the Professional Education tab.
  1. Select Create New.
  2. Add the rule Criteria that attendees must meet. You can choose from:
  • Live Time Spent – The amount of time an attendee spends in the live event.
  • Polls Answered – The number of polls an attendee answers.
  • Questions Asked – The number of questions an attendee submits.
  • Surveys Submitted – The number of surveys an attendee completes.
  • Resources Downloaded – The number of resources an attendee downloads.
  • CTA Clicked – The number of calls-to-action an attendee clicks.
  1. Enter the value the attendee must meet or exceed for that criterion.
  2. If needed, add additional criteria.
  3. Assign the number of CPE credits for the rule criteria.
  4. Click Next.

Typical rule criteria can include:

  • time spent in the event
  • poll participation
  • other supported attendee engagement actions

For example, you might create a rule that awards 1 credit when an attendee watches at least 50 minutes and answers at least 2 polls.

 

At the Event Level

Open the live event or webinar you want to configure.

For Webinars

  1. Open the event template you want to configure.
  2. Go to the Professional Education tab.
  1. Select Create New.
  2. Add the rule Criteria that attendees must meet. You can choose from:

Note: Use template-level setup if you want new events created from that template to inherit the same CPE configuration. Use event-level setup if you need a one-off configuration for a specific event.
